Who we are and what we do
The Foundation pursues charitable goals of social solidarity and bases its commitment on the principles of mercy and brotherhood, without pursuing profit.
The main objectives of the Voluntas Foundation are:
- Promote an active and organized contribution to the processes of civil, human and social development, pursuing through its own initiatives, the resolution of problems related to poverty, suffering and conflict, in all their forms and manifestations.
- Carry out and stimulate charitable initiatives in favor of subjects or entities that fall within the aims of the Foundation.
- The main final beneficiaries of the Foundation’s activities are disadvantaged people, affected by situations of vulnerability, hardship and marginalization and those who need accompaniment in an ethical process of enlargement of moral values and sharing within society.
The activities of the Foundation
- Study, promote and implement charitable programs to support marginalized populations in the third world
- Promote and implement programs for the construction of educational, health, water and housing facilities in particularly poor areas of the world
- Promote and implement educational support programs and distance adoptions of orphans and minors in extreme conditions of need and vulnerability, in developing countries and other countries where conditions of extreme poverty persist
- Promote training, literacy and job placement of children and adults in underdeveloped countries Study and implement initiatives for the broadening of morality and sharing, brotherhood and growth of individual and collective consciousness within advanced and developing societies
- Develop and promote initiatives and collaborative projects with bodies of the same type, sector, solidarity networks, relationships with people, organizations and institutions in harmony with the mission and principles of the Foundation
- Carry out training and information activities, cultural projects and educational activities for the public, with the aim of raising awareness and involving other subjects in the activities of the Foundation and spreading the ideals that animate it
- Carry out fundraising activities using appropriate methods and ethically compliant with this statute, through institutional or specific campaigns that may also include events, shows, use of media channels, sponsorships, offers, etc.
- Provide donations and finance projects of organizations and associations operating in sectors related to that of the Foundation at national and international level
- Any other initiative which, according to the needs of time and place, is considered in conformity and appropriate to the objectives of the Foundation by its supervisory bodies
